I have a cat that is really intuitive and keeps me comforted especially when I’m sleeping as I have nightmares due to PTSD. Although she doesn’t go places with me, I keep my anti anxiety meds with me for when I need it.

There's a site called psychdogpartners.org . They have a lot of info on psychiatric service dogs, including info on how to train your own. I've been looking into it for a while and it seems like a really useful resource.

Hi, Service dogs can indeed make a huge impact on your life, do you have any experience with dogs? Sometimes having a dog as a companion can be helpful even without having him professionally trained.
