Debilitating Anxiety About Sleep

How can I stop having such extreme anxiety about sleep? It has gotten really debilitating. Even when it's still daytime, I worry about how I'm going to sleep at night or if I'm even going to be able to fall asleep. Then at nighttime I've been struggling, feeling on the verge of panic attacks, and imagining worst case scenarios related to my health and thinking that I'm going to die.

I use breathing excercises to reduce anxiety. Even a few minutes of simple practice can reduce my anxiety level so I can sleep. Prior to this used alprazalam for anxiety but have found in the long run breathing excercises are healthier and more effective.

Taking 200mg of L-Theanine at night has helped with nighttime anxiety, and having a podcast to listen to keeps me from getting stuck in my thoughts. (Something wholesome but also interesting, like Ologies or Ghosthoney’s Dream Machine)

Right now I'm listening to ocean waves and I have red lighting on dimly. I'm hoping for results.

Listening to waves and calming music has helped me in the past.
