Dealing with Worsening Menstrual Cramps

So I, like most, have cramps. But they have worsened with age. Most times I am fine but somewhere in the middle I start to feel more pain, like someone is stabbing me, like I need to go to the toilet. But I don't. It hurts in the usual period spots, but also the backside and just everywhere in the stomach.
