I take medication and ice pack help so much. I use mobility aids to help me get around. And compressions garments. ( this sound weird but I used to sit on the floor to do Desk work it would help reduce pain and pooling)

I find that compression machines hurt too much. Calves are very sensitive. I wear compression socks daily. Have Appt with my vein doctor Friday. I’ve never had swelling. Just stinging, itching, rash on one section. Went away after wearing compression socks.

The one thing that truly helped me was wearing compression stockings (I have a prescription for them) and elevating it when you can. I’ve also had several embolization surgeries that helped the pain for 6 months to a year.

My doctor prescribed a pneumatic compression machine for my VI, Lipedema, and Lymphedema. It helps some with the pain, restless leg (if you use it before the RL starts), heaviness, and swelling. I use it twice a day.

Thank you so much for your reply! I’m meeting a vein specialist in two weeks and will ask about your treatment in hopes I can use it too!
