Dealing with Vaginismus: Seeking Help After Sexual Trauma

So i have not been diagnosed with vaginismus, but i’m pretty sure i have it. i’m scared to talk to any doctor about it due to sexual trauma. i want a normal sex life back.. what do i do?!

I would go to an OB, as they’re more qualified to diagnose and refer you!

I understand how you feel. Vaginismus is annoying and sometimes a normal sex life feels impossible, but it’s not! As painful as it is, I would suggest finding a physical therapist who specializes in the pelvic area. It’s helped me tremendously
