That’s how ADHD and anxiety can be. My nails and cuticles used to be torn up from picking.

When I am standing my my wooden chair I run my fingers on the armrest while I am waiting for something. Yes a lot of my swimming is when I am waiting and when I am bored.

I do that constantly πŸ™ƒ I believe it's how we self soothe if we had to learn to do so as a child.
