      I do that constantly 🙃 I believe it's how we self soothe if we had to learn to do so as a child.

      When I am standing my my wooden chair I run my fingers on the armrest while I am waiting for something. Yes a lot of my swimming is when I am waiting and when I am bored.

      That’s how ADHD and anxiety can be. My nails and cuticles used to be torn up from picking.

      I clap my hands or "make my heart jump". I can't explain the second one but I'm sure it's not healthy 😂

          @Hannahbanna I'm not sure... My counselor believes it's anxiety... I honestly believe that what I am experiencing when I do it is the hyper activity part of my ADHD. Kids --when they're hyper, they can release that energy by screaming and running around. As an adult, we are expected to act a certain way so I think overtime i learned how to contain or express this burst of energy in a different way... But that's just my opinion. Humans are weird 😆
