I'm so dang frustrated with my diabetes I can't stand it. how do you deal with the knowledge that it never ends? I just want a break and I'll never get one and I'm losing my mind over it.

I've had diabetes as long as I can remember so I don't have much room to talk, but the biggest thing that kept me going for the last 18 years is not limiting myself because of my diabetes. Don't let life slip away from you! Anything an able-bodied person can do, so can you! You just have to plan ahead and know your body! You got this. I think it helps to surround yourself with people going through the same struggles as well. My whe family is T1D so we all can check in on each other and celebrate good reports

Speak with your doctor and explain to him or her what are the underlines issues with your diabetes.

Honestly I ignore it which just brings it to the surface more, but what I'm trying to do is start living the life I want and finding purpose that way it won't matter hopefully and we'll do what we need to do because it allows us to be/do who/what we want to be/do. But that doesn't make it any easier, just more worth it
