Does anyone also experience this: when the fatigue hits but I have to keep walking/standing, my neck and shoulders get so tense, as if that's the only thing keeping my body upright. How do you then get rid of this tension later when you are able to lie/sit down, so it (and the accompanying pain) doesn't last all day?

One user suggests that practical solutions for the pain of holding a position come from advice learned in physical therapy. They recommend changing positions or adding supports in those areas when feeling tense. If you've been sitting or standing for too long, try getting up and stretching or doing gentle yoga on the floor. Laying down, even without sleeping, can help recharge you and alleviate some tension and pain.
