I had it once from not taking my antidepressant. It was the scariest experience and made me so afraid to wean off of said antidepressant.

yeah. its horrible and sometimes traumatizing. after a realistic vivid dream of being high, delusional, terrified, and very very blurry and lost, it paused and i opened my eyes and this grey horrible creature was nose-to-nose with me staring in my eyes and i couldnt move talk or anything. it was brief, but i cant ever get that out of my head.that was my worst one.

I have had it happen before. I notice it happened when I was really overwhelmed with my PTSD symptoms and I starting to feel paranoid. I woke up but couldn’t move or speak or anything and thought I was still in my dream. I thought it was real and almost called the police until it finally clicked what had happened. I didn’t see anyone in the room or anything but I felt like someone was watching me from a window the whole time (even though I couldn’t see the window) because that’s what was happening in my dream before I woke up. I think making sure to not stress too much over things going on and to really focus on calming down before sleeping might be helpful. Also making sure to get sleep at regular times of day might help. I wish I could help more in this area but that’s just what I know from my past experience.

I do. Mine is either these tall stick like shadow people with claw like fingers and not face (they look like a pen line-drawing in a way) and the hat man
