Dealing with Severe Dissociation

i live in such a constant dissociative state that its hard to know what reality feels like. it feels like it's gotten so severe these last few days. it's hard to describe what it even feels like because i'm so extremely detached. how do i deal with it or take care of myself during these episodes?

I hear you and relate a lot. I’ve noticed that my therapy or dr appts will send me deeper into a dissociative episode. It feels like nothing will help

it is good to focus on little things in your surroundings such as what you can smell and feel (stuff you don’t usually don’t pay attention to unless it’s different than normal). after that you can slowly open your attention to more things around you

During my episodes, I have no way to manage them. I feel like I am not in control of my body while I am disconnected. But since I started psychotherapy and behavioral therapy, I have had fewer episodes than before.
