      @Moss_walls that’s part of it… yes. SSRI medications. (Assuming that’s what your taking) take 4-6 weeks to really start to take effect. But as per my psychiatrist literally yesterday, 8-10 weeks before you can really establish the maximum impact they will have on you. Many, MANY people get frustrated with the side effects and do not stay in them long enough to feel the improvement. For me. I have taken both Celexa and Prozac over the last 8 years. On both but took me about 3 weeks for the start-up side effects to fade and then by the 4 week things really started improving. But that said, I did not have the strength to wait through the crushing anxiety + side effects so my doctor prescribe additional short term use anti anxiety medication that helped tremendously.

      Your already doing one of the best things you can do which is reaching out. (I know that’s not really helpful to your anxiety symptoms right now lol) but seriously, that’s so important. I’m having anxiety today too. Woke up shaking for the first few hours. Sat in the couch in fetal position for an hour, eventually it faded and now I’m at work and my day is going better. (My mind want to thing “when will it come back again?” What will tomorrow be like. I have to shit that crap out. It’s hard. Your not alone. Message if you ever need encouragement that’s what we’re all here for.

        @HCG2021 Well that’s an unfortunate typo. 😂🤪
