My seasonal depression is kicking into gear early this year. I am trying to take care of myself before it gets too overwhelming.

Try to keep things clean and organized as much you can. That helps me a lot during this time of year. Especially when I get my depressive episodes

It all depends on how you are personally, if staying in bed helps you, stay for a movie with healthy snack. If you think that staying in bed won’t help, try going for a small walk, it can be a short 10 minute walk, the fresh air can help you feel more calm.

Some people think its a scam but I find the happy lights help me. 30 min a day. I initially thought it was just a waste of money but my friends started commenting on how I seemed much happier and more myself. I even do it in the summer when I know Im not going to get outside in the sun.
