I am depressed all the time, but I do notice it deepens during the fall and winter months. Probably because of the holidays because growing up and when my kids were growing up, holidays were always so special, but now it's hard to get my immediate and extended family to get together for the holidays. I reminisce a lot about the days gone by where we were all so much closer and not drifted apart like we are now.

I always feel depressed but I recently realized I struggle with everything so much more during the summer and heat. I suspect I have summer seasonal depression

I have never heard of summer depression. Someone who has winter depression, that's new to me. Do you live up north around snow or more South?

see seasonal winter depression is common, people can't go outside, they don't like the cold.... I'm the opposite. I hate the heat and am senstivie to overheating. I don't go outside during the summer. Heat itself makes me depressed and lethargic. I love fall and winter though

Seasonal depression is very real. My wife has it. She has hashimoto's and fibromyalgia and tends to be more depressed during the cold months due to the extra pain.
