Hi, I went through 3or4 Drs before I found a GP that referred me to a good rheumatologist.

I dealt with that for 4 or 5 years because of a crummy family doctor who thought I was just exaggerating my pain/wanted pain meds. I fought back and forth for years, telling him I just wanted to know WHY I was in so much pain. He patronized me with an xray eventually that showed extensive bone fusion and erosion and chipped bone and was basically just like "Well that can cause pain." still without trying to figure out why or do anything about it. It was my chiropractor who told me I had abnormal levels of inflammation and referred me to a rheumatologist who finally took me seriously, ran some tests, and was able to diagnose me. I started on Humira in 2019 and it made ALL the difference. I found a different GP after that as well because I realized I could've had the answer long before if he had only taken me seriously.

Bella, what was the thing that finally got you diagnosed?
