Dealing with Plantar Fasciitis at Work

Hey all with plantar! Mine didn’t get horrific until I started working in a concrete floored building 10+ hours a day walking on average 4 miles daily (gotta love hospitals and pandemics). Any suggestions on workers comp, disability, accommodations? It’s just gotten worse and I do all the exercises/stretches/inserts/shoes/etc….

I had always experienced heel pain, but I wasn't diagnosed until this year. I've had it ever since I gained weight from hormonal birth control pills.

Oh my god same. Gotta love being a healthcare worker right now lol. Something that’s helped me is warm soaks, I have a hot tub but if you don’t have that you could take a nice hot bath or do an epsom salt soak, and I got some Kurus (the shoe brand) and they’ve actually helped a lot!

I had a feeling hot soaks would help! The ice only numbs it and I just got some oofos for home shoes too. Thank you!!!
