Dealing with Pelvic Floor Issues: My Story

I was never diagnosed with hypertonic pelvic floor, I was born premature so it caused cerebral palsy. So once I got my period as a teen I just knew I was different, I don't worry about bleeding when I sleep, or period cramps which all sounds lovely till sex is involved and penetration is impossible or I hurt them. Gynecologist has never said anything probably simply because I don't find penetration painful or even getting a IUD. As anyone had a similar experience where you just know.

I also have a hypertonic pelvic floor, I highly recommend working with a pelvic floor therapist. They can give you specific exercises to help you relax your muscles. I’ve been working with mine for about a month and I’m already starting to see some progress. Still a long way to go but it’s a step in the right direction.

there's really no reason for me to I've been single for a month an pregnancy isn't a issue because of all the medications I'm on it's not option. I was curious if someone has a similar experience.
