I'm 27yrs old and I was just diagnosed with PCOS a month ago.. Didn't get my period for 8 months and I have a tremendous amount of hair coming out in the shower.. Started taking birth control (Junel FE) and I'm finishing the 1st packet. My period came back but I'm still experiencing hair fall..... Does anyone know if once my hormones are leveled, (my testosterone is abnormal high), and my testosterone lowers, will my hair loss stop? I'm very depressed over this and still coming to terms that I have PCOS... and I just want my hair to stop shedding...... Please help.
