Feeling Overwhelmed: Dealing with Panic Attacks During Finals

I think I feel some sort of a panic/anxiety attack coming on, I'm really stressed over finals and burned out. especially in one class

Been there. Stop for a sec and prioritize yourself. Also prioritize the hardest ones first. I love checklists. They help me a lot

Sensory! Surroundings! When you get to a moment of hieghtened panic pic 3 of your senses and then for the first one (let’s do hearing) 3 things you can hear second one (see) 2 things you can see and third (feel) 1 thing you can feel It’s a grounding mechanism to help you get out of your own brain and back into reality. You can do it a few times too- it is what helps me when the stress of school really gets to me and I start to disassociate

Count your breaths in and out, try and do something that calms you down. Drink some water, close your eyes, take that nap. You’re doing amazing, finals arent easy on anyone and especially not mentally ill/neurodivergent people. It’ll pass, you’ll be alright
