I constantly experience painfully uncomfortable tactile hallucinations of textures I can't stand. How do I deal with these tactile hallucinations?

I get it šŸ˜„. I use meditation and warm baths to help. I also use arnica gel. It doesn't really help pain hallucinations, but it has the placebo effect and relieves some of the discomfort.

Some people deal with tactile hallucinations by practicing mind over matter techniques, forcing themselves through it despite the discomfort and focusing on the task at hand. Breathing slowly can also help. Others suggest doing some self-care when a hallucination occurs to avoid feeling overwhelmed. Some find distraction helpful, such as doing breathing exercises or counting during the hallucination. Another approach is to research and understand the hallucinations better, questioning their logic and reality. Carrying disposable gloves for uncomfortable textures was also suggested.
