okay so i was diagnosed with OCD when i was 16 (4 years ago) and everything clicked on why i've done certain weird things, but i have no idea what kind i would have. sometimes i consecutively count things like my steps for example, i can't step on cracks, and i CANNOT be on the right side of people, i can't wear things on the left side of my body, and those two lady ones are just because i will feel disgusted and unbalanced, but i have no idea why lol. another symptom thing i have is whenever i go to a friends or family's house i have to restrain myself from moving things the way i like them, (another thing again lol, i'll pick at my skin until it bleeds or until i feel "satisfied" with it idk)

ugh i’m the same way with the skin picking!! i’m so insecure about my hands!! also, i used to struggle similarly with the unbalanced feeling… but it went from touching things to eating. like i have to eat a certain number of this or that or else i’ll feel off all day, my vitamins have to match color perfectly, etc. etc… it’s really draining.

i pick at my skin and cuticles a lot too
Oo, yes, the skin picking! I do that particularly to my face- I have one mole I think I'll get permanently removed because I've ripped it open so many times - but even worse to my hands. I bite at the skin right next to my fingernails until it seems smooth enough or like it's the right shape (?) Which results in bleeding and bigger calluses, which makes me bite more...I have half a fake front tooth because I chewed too much and wore my teeth down
I also have issues with feeling unbalanced.. Its HORRIBLE. If one finger touches my phone too much, the other has to do the same. I hate it.
@FluffyCat sometimes when i'm holding my phone i'll need to slide my nail under the top right corner of my phone case and if i don't i get that unbalanced feeling too
