Dealing with Night Terrors

Does anyone else still have night terrors after years of healing? I've been working through it for years but the night mares are still aweful.

I have nightmares anywhere from just really strange in a creepy way, to just scary when I'm really stressed.

What really helped me was a medication called Minipress...it's a blood pressure medication, but used in smaller daily/nightly doses, can help alleviate sleep-related effects of PTSD, including the nightmares and flashbacks. It helped me. Hope you can find relief. :)

I have night terrors every night even though it's been a couple of years. I don't think it's ever going to go away. 😕

Yeah. I still get horrible nightmares about my trauma despite it having been years ago. No amount of therapy or drugs have seemed to truly help it.

I get them on the regular, yeah ... I've been told to try lucid dreaming, but I haven't given it a shot yet, so I can't say whether or not it'll work.

Yes, I still get night terrors. It’s so frustrating cause it’s like we lose control when in sleep mode. It’s terrifying how strong it feels like reality, where stories shape around our triggers and fears etc. I’ve been struggling with this topic a lot recently. But through this craziness, I just hope you feel less alone, we are all in this together. ❤️
