Hey Cindy, how long have you been taking gabapentin? Have you tried propranolol and primidone before?

I was prescribed gabapentin for anxiety and depression. I was doing 300 mg each day for the first month or so and then 600 mg each day for the next two months. Then I stopped cold turkey and had all sorts of withdrawals symptoms: this is when my essential tremors started; tinnitus; difficulty walking straight; bad headaches; poor muscle coordination; itching and burning sensations all over my skin (especially if I ate anything sweet or did not sleep well). Make sure you DO NOT stop cold turkey and gradually reduce it under a doctor’s supervision. I am much better now after three months of stopping gabapentin but still has the symptoms, albeit milder.
