Dealing with Morning Anxiety: Tips Needed

Does anyone have tips for how to deal with morning anxiety? Literally from the second I wake up I feel completely paralyzed by anxiety and spend hours laying in bed trying to make it stop.

Can you help? connect today

This might not be much help but maybe planning out your morning the night before, picking your outfit and breakfast, etc? Then you at least know a few things to expect of what your morning will be like. I also find it a lot easier to pick out an outfit at night than I do in the morning.

I deal with this as well, and I usually have limited time in the mornings to calm down due to work. Truthfully, one of the only few things that help me in the mornings with anxiety are waking up a tiny bit earlier than usual and using that time to do something calming. I'm not a morning person whatsoever and am super cranky when I wake up, but I find that waking up earlier helps me feel less rushed, gives me time to read, play a calming mobile game, or even lay there and think, before everyone else in the house wakes up and is rushing to get ready for their day too. Also, I sometimes take warm baths occasionally, watch something calming on tv, try to practice breathing techniques to help me control my mind before the day gets busy, and that's mainly it. Every piece of advice may affect others differently, but that's what helps me. I hope you're able to find what works best for you!

Xanax. It is the only thing that completely makes my anxiety and panic attacks stop in their tracks
