what's the first thing you do when you sense you're getting a migraine?

Take Excedrin and grab some coffee. The exception being when I am sleeping at night and that's a dead end, the migraine has started and all I can do is pray for it to go away.

I take paracetamol straight away. It usually stops most of the pain from forming because I usually have the aura about 30 minutes before the pain starts.

      A little caffeine can help.

Frova, alive, cold pack, migraine glasses, get away from excess stimulus

@Beth2022 I take 2 benadryl capsules. Avoid food containing any salycilates. Go to bed if possible. Raise head of bed in dark room. Light and sounds irritate me further.šŸ‘

Take excedrin and use peppermint oil and lay down if Iā€™m home with a hot rag on my forehead.

Literally SPRINT to find excedrin, chug a glass of water, turn all the lights off and close blinds, and go to sleep. If I am away from the house honestly RIP just pray

I personally take pain medication, drink lots of water and sleep in a dark place. I usually take a full day to recover up to two at time depending on how bad it may be

@Tori20 Iā€™ve had that happen many times where I was down for two or three days with migraine. Itā€™s been a long time since Iā€™ve had one and I am very grateful for that. I hope yours gives you a break as well

@Vidya my last migraine run lasted 8 days. I only got out of bed to use the bathroo.

Does anyone attribute their migraine to hormones? I take pain reliever and try to stay in a dark place. Most importantly hydration is key

@Vidya definitely. I get one right around my period pretty much every month. Sometimes around ovulation as well.

Take excedrin if I can. Or else panic because I see the aura and there's nothing I can do about it because I'm driving or at work, etc. But those are the very first things I do

@JRavens67 That makes sense to me haha! First thing I do is take my rizatrsptan and ondansetron, then find a dark space so I can try and sleep the brunt of it off.

@EddieKnee these days there isn't much that helps me. I don't have any medications that work yet
