Dealing with Medical Complications Alone

Hello! I’m Vanessa. I just had my MVD in November and I had an allergic reaction to the glue used to close my skull. So I had to have another surgery to clean and put new metal plate in my head. I was wondering who feels like giving up on life? I have so many complications. Like I know I have to live with this alone. I fear growing old with this.can anyone relate?

I had the same, caused a pretty decent infection because it wouldn't heal. 90 days of IV antibiotics and an encephalopathy reaction to that latter and still hurts pretty regularly. It is extremely isolating. Moment to moment. That's how I deal, but it hasn't been super effective. I hope you find something that gives you some relief.

I’m so sorry about all of that happening! I have trigeminal neuralgia too and it’s so hard to keep going some days! I just found out I have lupus on top of fibromyalgia and TN. 😣

So sorry to hear that. I have trigeminal neuralgia too and it is definitely debilitating. What do you do to find joy?

Oh yeah? I talk about it openly on Facebook but no one seems to care. Trying to bring awareness to Trigeminal neuralgia and also trying to do online business. I swear. No one likes nor comments on my post unless they saying I’m crazy I need Jesus or all I need is good d***.. all I get are men being sexually explicit with me. I lost everything due to my disability and no one seems to care.
