How can I deal with a long episode of anxiety? I have been having panic attacks every day for about 3 days resulting in nausea/vomiting episodes that last for hours. Pretty much from the moment I wake up, I'm already feeling sick and panicked. I do have some anti vomiting medicine I took earlier today and it stopped the vomiting for now but I haven't been able to get my appetite back. Some of my anxiety does have a cause I can pinpoint but a lot of it feels like I'm just catastrophizing. I'm extremely scared and don't know how to finally get rid of this phase.

The only thing that has long term helped with my anxiety was getting my autism diagnosis (depression, anxiety, ptsd, adhd, panic disorder we’re all separate diagnosis I had before so I would honestly look into that if you haven’t already can’t hurt) Other than that medication and marijuana. Weed can stop my panic attacks 7/10 times but when it can’t I have Xanax. I also take a beta blocker daily that helps with the physical symptoms. Hope you find some relief soon.

Has your doctor given you any take as needed meds? I have GAD, without panic attacks, so I don't really have a take as needed med, but I've heard of that for a lot of people with panic attacks. I take fluvoxamine for my general anxiety and it helps a ton.

Long episodes are really hard because you're so exhausted, but you're also feeling so fried and wired. At least that's how I feel. I sleep a lot during these episodes and try to watch things that can distract me. Good luck

One suggestion to deal with anxiety and nausea is to try distracting yourself, such as engaging in activities like coloring or focusing on something else. This may help alleviate some of the anxiety and discomfort you're experiencing.
