Dealing with Kidney Stones: Need Advice

hey, I was wondering if any others have had simular diagnosis. ive had kidney stones for a little while now and just now my docs are trying to figure out the cause. I pass uric acid stones and had a 24 hour urine test done plus blood work. they found I have higher uric acid levels in my blood and higher creatinine. they said to change my diet and drink more water but I already aim for 2 - 3 liters of water a day and changed my diet quite a bit, i usually go for salmon, grilled chicken, occationally pork and rarely beef. I eat lots of veggies and try to do better on fruits. im allergic to the allopurinol and i cant handle the potassium 1,620mg. is there anything else i can do? im open to suggestions!
