Dealing with High Blood Pressure: Seeking Suggestions

I just found out that I have high blood pressure issues. Problem is that usually it's high cholesterol, diabetes, or heart and vascular disease that cause high blood pressure. I have none of the things mentioned and we don't know what's causing it. The only other thing I can think of that can cause high blood y, is stress. I do have some of that. But not overly so. So my team of doctors and I are trying to figure this anomaly out. Any suggestions would be welcome. Thanks

I've had high BP for over 20 yrs. Well before diabetes. If I had to guess, I'd say a high stress life, + genetics. Has only gotten worse over the years, I'm obese and have a very hard time losing weight etc etc...

I have and I am trying this tip and is working out for me. I do (hot) water therapy: I heat up one bottle of 16.9 ounce of water to a temperature where is like drinking hot tea/coffee/soup. It helps to sweat or pee or poop out any grease/oils/fats that you may have in the veins/body helping you loose weight. Plain hot water with no ingredients. Now I drink it about 3 to 4 hours before going to sleep, it helps me during bedtime to relax. Some people prefer to do it in the day. I have done no exercise, just doing it the lazy way. Since my hospitalization on August 17th, 2022 due to my discovery of my Blood pressure was high as of 260/127 and where I weighted 227 pounds with in my 5 weeks of drinking hot water therapy I have loss -19 pounds to 208 pounds till today October 1st, 2022. And once a day I drink Warm Garlic Tea: I smashed 4 garlic cloves, I let it sit for about 7 to 10 minutes to help activate the compound Allicin, then pour warm water to a cup, mix it and drink/eat the garlic and enjoy the day.

I got high BP recently. Started one med no change. Added a second med no change, got a third med now trying. Short summary- doc says everyone responds differently and it may take finding the right combo. Also, if it's working it should show in 2-3 weeks. Monitoring at home and writing it down is helpful.

I have had high blood pressure for years. Currently taking lisinopril 10 mg daily, which keep my blood pressure pretty normal. It causes the the following side effects: fast heart beat, swelling in ankles, and some issues with eyes.

The natural cure for high blood pressure is the combination of Potassium and Magnesium when the Salt/Sodium, Cholesterol and blood sugar is high in our bodies. Usually what can cause High Blood Pressure physically is high Salt/Sodium, High Cholesterol, High Blood Sugar and mentally is Stress/Depression. We hear from doctors that our Potassium is high, well the potassium help lower the high blood pressure naturally also with the help of Magnesium. We just need to add the food that has them in it into our bodies example: natural coconut water, any green veggies Celery, Spinach, Kale, cucumber, lime or lemon, ginger, half of green apple make it into a powerful juice and drink it twice a day of a 250 ml cup. If you ate to much Salty food well now you need to balance it with potassium and magnesium so your blood pressure wouldn't get out of control.

I had high blood pressure and was on lisinopril and propranolol for migraines my bp was fine and managed for 4 years actually it was too low so they ended up taking me off both of the medications. I was doing great except still had low bp like it was always in the 90/70 then I had a port put in , in sept of 2022 I ended up getting sick and throwing up and feeling like crapt dizzy as hell . My blood pressure skyrocketed to 140/150 over 80/90 and my steri strips got infected I guess I’m allergic to them. I ended up calling my pcp and the nurse there told me that I needed to go to the er. After a 13 hour wait. I was finally seen. When I got in the room my bp was 174/98 . He hardly looked at my spot where the steri strips where and ordered a round of prednisone & looked at me and said we don’t deal with bp unless it’s in the 200s becuase that’s stroke high. Go see your pcp and sent me on my way… I could have gone and seen my pcp in the first place 😡 so anyways I went and saw my pcp who ordered a 3 day heart monitor. Which the hospital did a 1 day . I was kinda mad about that. They said that was the orders but my pcp showed me her papers where it showed 3 days 🙄 so oh well. I’m the mean time she put me on almondpine besylate 10mg . They got my results and it said I was throwing pacs and pvcs and 3 beat arterial fibrillation. So now I wait… in the mean time my bp runs from 100/80 -147/90 and my pulse runs anywhere from 145-66… life is a mystery.. stay strong warriors 💪

I have been lucky, my heart rate and HB are controlled with meds. Good luck.
