Hi yes it’s me 🙋🏻‍♀️ I feel so anxious most of the time whenever I have to do anything “normal” like drive, go to the store, make plans in general, because I never know how I’m going to feel or when I’m going to get extreme pain, stomach pain/nausea, or fatigue. It’s exhausting!! And causes more anxiety about doing anything.

Oh my god it’s so bad. It’s been a few years since my last major flare, and it feels like I’m a ticking timebomb. All of my labs have been great, but I’ve been so stressed lately I’ve been having stomach issues. Which, makes me more stressed :P I honestly just try to remind myself that it’s not Crohn’s; it’s stress. I can get through this. It’s been worse before.

100%!!! I think a lot of it is childhood trauma from growing up as a sick kid. And then there’s the added anxiety of worrying about health day-to-day and how my conditions might impact my job. I also have a really messed up relationship with food, partially because of crohns and partially because of how I was raised, which makes me very anxious about nutrition. I haven’t really found any specific coping mechanisms for health-related anxiety. I’ll let you know when I do!

So much!! All the time!! It's been at a mega high lately because of friend drama surrounding symptoms of my disease sooo that's cool!

Yes! Very common to have anxiety with crohns.
