Hello! Something that really helped me was going on the pescatarian diet as red meat such as beef really hurt my stomach. Also limiting things like tomato or other citrus fruits, caffeine (let's be real, I still drink this often), mint, chocolate, and fried foods such as French fries. Every once in a while I will still eat these foods as they taste good, but take tums or some other over the counter medicine. Prilosec works well, too. And eating in smaller amounts but frequently and not laying down or doing exercise for a while after eating. Also, not eating before bed. Hope this helped!

Some individuals have reported improvement in their GERD symptoms by taking mastic gum, manuka honey, and L-glutamine. Others have found relief through dietary changes and weight loss. One person mentioned a natural remedy involving drinking organic cabbage juice on an empty stomach and before bed for 7 days. Another individual found help with using aloe Vera juice and papaya juice (about 1 TBS each) with each meal.
