Some days are just bad. It sounds like you’re doing the best you can and that’s all you can do. Sometimes it just flares so remember to take care of yourself. Go easy on yourself, you can get through this!

I think a huge thing to remember is non of this is your fault, it’s really easy to feel guilty because you need help from the people around you, but the truth is they want to help. It’s feels embarrassing when it happens at school sometimes because it’s “not normal” but honestly no one is normal and no one is going to make fun of you or be worried about it a week from now. You’re doing amazing, just keep doing everything you’re doing

@unluckyunicorn oh shoot. i have no idea what mmhg it was… and i generally don’t have blood pressure problems with my pots. when they did the tilt test it just showed heart rate problems, but not blood pressure. and thanks. i definitely tend to blame myself a lot.

What mmhg was your compression? I usually need the tighter the better, 30-40 mmhg. Do you have any problems with blood pressure? It could be dropping which is what is causing to you to pass out. Also you don’t need to feel bad! You have a medical condition and are doing your best to manage it.

Do you wear compression clothes? Take any meds? Make sure to stay hydrated or use something like liquid IV/salt stick
