Im not sure if its possible for everyone but i just go into “ghost mode” I get like so annoyed or bored with doing nothing that even tho i dont have the executive function to do what i feel i need to do, i push myself to do something until i get the motor going. I rlly dont like doing chores or anything or showering etc at those times. But sometimes i can just auto pilot or ghost around doing some other things until i just walk into doing the big thing. Similarly, sometimes it’s possible to just stop thinking abt how awful showering is gonna be and i try to just walk in there to get it over with as fast as possible. Just dont think abt it, have a video playing, something..

I second the playing a video suggestion. Exactly what I’ve been doing to get myself to be distracted/motivated enough to do the task at hand.

Same about watching a video I’m interested in. I have other conditions that get me easily exhausted, so I do take test breaks, and gotta be mindful of the worms in my brain trying to get me to just chill instead.
