How do you handle the everyday pain?

I find that pain management can be different day to day. Sometimes heat really helps, sometimes a tens machine, sometimes massage... I struggle with getting moving, but at the same time I know that movement helps the pain. Sometimes though I do just need to rest, pushing myself too much at work tends to push me into a flare up even if I'm trying to use the movement to manage pain.

The one thing that really helps me is heat, hot showers...i feel you.

Some people handle everyday pain by applying meditation, practicing a positive mental attitude of gratitude, and being gentle on themselves both physically and emotionally. Others use medications like gavapentin, CBD, topicals, and holistic approaches. Resting when possible, watching diet, and having a good support team are also mentioned as helpful strategies. Some find relief in focusing on something they love, like a show or nature, and celebrating small victories. Gentle exercises like short walks or in-bed yoga can also help manage the pain.
