Dealing with Endometriosis Pain: Seeking Advice

So, I had a labroscopy done in 2019, and my doctor warned me that about 3-5 years later I was going to need to have another one. Well, my pain has been getting worse and I am currently on my last resort birth control (progesterone only) and its not doing anything for me. If y'all have had anything that has helped you, please let me know.

I have heard that the IUD helps. I’m kinda looking into it. The Kyleena which is the smallest of the IUD. other than that they can take my uterus out. I’m so over it as well.

I'd be really careful with this. There's a large trade off to be made, and Lurpon/Orlissa run the risk of osteoporosis and even more pain as a result of bone density loss. And these methods can't be used long term either

I took orlissa for 2 years and then went off of it in January or so. I had absolutely no issues while I was on it, but the instant I quit taking it, I had all the fun symptoms return

also I believe Lupron had a lawsuit against it.

yeah I second this, orilissa is better than lupron but both are scary and only effective for a small portion of people. I tried orilissa and got off of it before anything scary happened but it did not help and just gave hot flashes

Try the new medications that put you through a pre-menopause !

Was it a specialist who did it? Was it an excision? If not, look into Nancy’s Nook. It will give you all the info you need! Basically, it won’t come back if you have excision by a specialist. If you have any questions let me know!

It was a gyno who did the excision for me. And in my area, she is the best surgical option of obgyns.
