Back in December I had a laparoscopy for endo and my surgeon said he didn’t find anything which was difficult because all of my doctors believed I had it and I had every symptom plus continuous uncontrolled bleeding. Yesterday a different doctor noticed on my recent MRI that it states finding consistent of Adenomyosis. Does anyone have experience with Adeno? The only info I’ve seen is that the cure is a hysterectomy so any other info would be really helpful before I can get in touch with my GYN.

If you had a laparoscopy by a regular OBGYN it’s very possible disease was missed. Beyond that, yes a hysto is the cure for adeno and you can try to manage with hormones in the mean time, but most end up having a hysto at some point

@100Percent_K I was told he was a specialist hired specifically for endo so I don’t know if he could have missed it or not. We’ve also been trying hormones and are still trying different ones but no progress so far.
