Hey everyone, I was recently diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma and, honestly, it's been a rollercoaster of emotions. I'm feeling a mix of fear, confusion, and a bit of denial. It's a lot to process. I'd really love to hear from others who've walked this path. How did you handle the emotional whirlwind after your diagnosis? Any personal insights or experiences would be so appreciated. 🙏🙏🙏

After my diagnosis, I experienced a lot of anger and frustration. Finding a support group with people who understood what I was facing made a huge difference. It’s okay to feel all these emotions. Give yourself time.

I remember feeling a mix of disbelief and fear when I got my diagnosis. What helped me was educating myself about Multiple Myeloma – understanding more about the disease gave me a sense of control.

For me, keeping a journal helped me process my feelings. Also, I found solace in activities like walking and yoga, which helped me manage stress and anxiety

It's perfectly normal to feel a whole range of emotions. When I was diagnosed, I felt very isolated. Reaching out to online communities and connecting with others who had been through the same experience was incredibly comforting and helpful. 💕

"Those first few days after hearing about multiple myeloma can be super tough. The important things eventually are remembering to take care of yourself both physically and emotionally. Educate yourself from reliable sources, build a support network, communicate openly with your doctor, and stay positive! Lean on your support system – your friends, your family, or also the online communities. Take it one day at a time, ask questions, and be kind to yourself."
