I had a rough work day today, got my car towed, had to deal with scary traffic/road rage drivers, paid a lot of money that I wasn’t planning on spending, the list goes on. I had a pretty significant breakdown while driving home after all of it, but in the back of my mind was aware I was overreacting and being super dramatic about the whole thing. Does anyone else experience something similar? Like a voice in your mind shutting down/rationalizing the emotions you’re feeling during a breakdown even though you can’t control it?
