Dealing with EDS in College: Advice Needed

I was diagnosed this year with EDS, I mainly have two questions. 1. if anyone has any advice on how to deal with it going forward as I am going to college next spring 2. I have been having stomach issues and I was wondering if there was a chance it could be related to my EDS. I don't know much about disability or how to navigate a lot of things, however, I do know that EDS even before my diagnosis has made many things difficult even today my shoulder popped out of socket (luckily it went back in pretty quickly), this one of the examples of my struggles. I will reply to comments, this is my first time on the app so any help is appreciated!

Thanks for all the feedback everyone! Sorry I havnt been responding much. To elaborate further on the stomach issues, my abdomen is tender to the touch. It's been a month of doctors appointments. I just had my preop appt. Today as they will be doing an EGD in hopes of finding the source of the pain

The majority of us have stomach motility issues. Some of us including myself have compression syndromes of the GI because of EDS such as SMAS, MALS and nutcracker. These symptoms are more disabling than motility. But Gastroparesis is the most common, rapid gastric emptying is a secondary motility disorder often overlooked.

2) I don’t have gastroparesis, but I have it’s opposite twin. I have enhanced gut motility, which is hell in its own way

1.) I will be starting college this fall as well but ive been diagnosed for years. You 100% should look into and disability services your college has to offer. 2.) Absolutely also check out gastroparesis

1. Get a mobility aid. I was SO TIRED from walking to and from class I couldn't even focus on my school work. 2. 10000% yes
