Do you have times where it feels like your EDS is flaring? I have hEDS and the Pat week all of a sudden I’m getting joint pain in multiple joints again. My shoulders painful, my thumb/wrist is slipping, my hip is tight, my neck is painful. I didn’t really think there were flares since it’s the connective tissues in general but it feels so out of nowhere for so many joints to be hurting. I will say I’ve gone through a pretty stressful time recently and normally that throws me into a POTS flare and my muscles get extra sore but this feels different.

Yes, some people with hEDS experience flare-ups where their symptoms worsen. Factors such as stress, illness, or overexertion can contribute to these flares. It's important to practice self-care and consult with your doctor if you're concerned about the sudden increase in joint pain.
