I have hashimotos. I do occasionally have sever dry skin, but someone recently mentioned I looked "ashy"...? I'm a white 58 year old female, so I'm not certain what he meant, but was curious what others use for dry skin.

I use the vitamin E oil from Trader Joes. It works well

I have Hashimoto’s. I use donkey milk soap from a farm in Maine or Iceland volcanic ash soap on my body daily in the shower and it keeps my skin velvety soft. When my skin gets dry or ashy looking, I know I need to increase my water consumption or it’s when I’ve been eating gluten or dairy as well as anything inflammatory.

Thank You!!! Great advice and I will look into purchasing some of the Donkey Milk and volcano ash soap. I know I need to exfoliate dead skin off! I will increase water consumption as well. Thank you.
