You might want to research trigeminal dysphoria -- a visually-induced neurological issue. Headaches, eye pain, & dry eye are all symptoms. I was diagnosed earlier this year. Finally explained the headaches I've had for about 2-3 years.

I had days where I wake up with headaches behind my eyes. My dry eye has an allergic component. Benadryl really helps
