Hi Stacy! When I was first diagnosed a year ago the eye doctor thought it was just dry eye, and so I just used eye drops four times a day. Well, it got worse because I was using drops with preservatives (big no no) and I didn't feel like anything was helping. I went to a specialist and was put on Restasis and a steroid drop for a few weeks, and then just Restasis in conjuction with preservative free drops. It has taken a few months feel the difference but my symptoms have significantly improved. I still have to be very mindful of what I do, and my eyes get super tired quickly if I am not careful. I also do hot compresses with a bruder mask 2x a day (morning and night), sleep with a humidifier going (to counter my A/C or heat) and wear sunglasses whenever I'm outside I also try my best at limiting my screen time and take breaks.
