Ive dealt with the diarrhea, urgency, frequency, stomach pain, etc for years but I’ve been having worsening pain when going to the bathroom and constipation which has never been a problem for me but my doc just cancelled my appointment I’ve been waiting for and the next one I could get isn’t for another month! I’ve tried every dietary change I can find and nothing has helped how can I get through this next month? What can I eat or take that won’t upset my stomach but will help ease the pain?

      This is how I feel!! Been having gastritis most of my life but haven’t been constipated til recently and it’s caused a lot of tummy issues on top of hemorrhoids. My doctor suggested eating prunes 2x a day. I was taking stool softener nightly as he said Miralax may sometimes be too harsh and cause bloating but either way I think taking them for too long creates a dependence so I am trying to ease off them. Eat lots of veggies and fruit. And take probiotics daily. What kind of stomach pain are you having? Mine’a in lower abdomen.

      I would ask to be put on a waitlist for a sooner appt/cancellations if possible! Waiting longer than expected is the worst! Plain chicken and rice and broccoli florets as simple as it may sound it pretty standard for IBD/IBS safe foods! I would do a quick google search to find meal ideas like it - I wish you well! 💕

      The thing that got me going almost every day was doing MiraLax in the morning and in the evening. I also drink benefiber throughout the day. It’s a probiotic.
