Derealization symptoms : so i recently realized that when I am anxious or exhausted from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome I tend to have this overwhelming feeling of unrealness where everything around me seems dream-like or distant/fake from me. It usually happens at night and when I’m at home and rarely when I’m at school which is really good. I was having a coughing attack from choking on my spit a minute ago and started to feel this way. I don’t know if it is specifically derealization or something like disassociation, but I am currently on Prozac so it happens way less often. I used to think this was like related to depression because it would always put me in a crappy mood where I felt like everything was worthless, but since i am diagnosed with anxiety (social and general essentially) as well as most likely having chronic fatigue syndrome it seems likely that this is probably not the most normal feeling and it stresses me out whenever i have it. Tips? I’m going to tell my counselor when I see her next week.
