Dealing with Depression After a Long Period of Loss

I dunno if this is the right place to ask or if it's coherent but oh well. Worth a shot. Depression is really getting to me now and I don't really know the course of action besides trying to get back on meds. Part of the reason why it's so bad is the state of the world. It feels like everything is completely falling apart and frankly, I don't trust people to make it better after all that's been done. The second is the amount off loss that I've personally experienced in the last 2 years. The last 6 months have been even worse in that regard. I had familial loss, a 15 year old pet die, and the loss of a long relationship right after I graduated college. I'm in a new one now suprisingly but the feelings of worthlessness still linger after the trauma after the last one ended. Compile that with seeing my family struggle with their own problems and over exposure to everything else, I feel completely stuck. I'm very close to being completely broke and although I have support on the essentials, I can't afford to be frivilous. Anyway, do you all have any tips or advice on dealing with depression after a long period of loss and/or ways to handle everything? If you're in the same spot too, I'd love to hear from you. Maybe we can support each other that way. Thanks ahead of time.

if you're not in therapy, it might be good to try! and if you've tried cbt and that hasn't worked maybe try to find someone who does dbt. it teaches like skills to deal with emotions i think? (i don't know too much but i've been trying to find someone to go to cuz cbt didn't work for me haha). but i think it would be really good to have someone you can talk to who can help you work through things. it's harder for therapists to help with feelings about the current state of the world, but i know grief counseling is a very common thing. and they could help you deal with the depression itself which may help you then deal with the other things.
