Dealing with constant anxiety

I’ve been suffering with anxiety for years but it’s been getting worse. Does anyone have constant anxiety, almost every moment of the day even upon waking in the morning? Is there anything you’ve found to help lessen it naturally? Currently trying to avoid meds..

Gosh yes I have this too. Its awful. It’s been getting worse. I had an eye opening convo with my therapist yesterday and may need to do meds even though I also am super resistant to it. She said medicine could get me to a place where I’m more able to use those natural coping mechanisms like we talk about in therapy (breathing, mantras, etc.) to make myself feel better. She was like “if you’re drowning i can’t teach you how to swim because you’re going to be flailing and trying not to die but if you have floaties on (meds) I can help you learn.” Not saying that’s what you have to or should do but i can relate…it’s something to think about. 💕 message me anytime if you want to chat with someone who relates a TON.

I am currently on meds but my anxiety levels are really high still. I will say, I like to avoid high anxiety situations if I can. I have taken time to try and notice what my triggers are, not understand why or how to stop them, but just see what they are in order to be prepared or avoid them completely.

Yes. I have panic attacks. Knowing the triggers is key.

Calm app. Exercise even at night helps.

I highly recommend listening to Mel Robbins on Youtube or getting her audiobook ( i got for free on audible as my first book) and i even got her physical book. She has alot of good techniques for things I have tried to use or remember(:

St. John wort works to a point. But, if the anxiety is extreme definitely try walking even if it's in a small space. I think night time tends to be the hardest. Who's misses a good night sleep!?
