Dealing with Chronic Pain: Seeking Advice

I got an MRI last week, after waiting for almost 2 months. My doctor appointment to look at the MRI isn’t until a month from now. I’ve never had pain like this. It starts from the right side of my neck and goes down my arm (I can’t feel my right thumb sometimes). I’ve been going to PT three times a week and racking up a massive bill. Things feel somewhat better but I am really lost and feeling hopeless with all this chronic pain. I’ve been taking all kinds of pills (prescribed, muscles relaxers, OTC), and I still feel the pain 24/7. All I understand is that parts of my neck are compressed, and there is likely a pinched nerve. What treatments have worked for you? How long did it take? Will I be in chronic pain for the rest of my life?

I did PT 3xweek for 8 weeks and got back full use of arm and hand. I took note of all the exercises and go back to them often

I'm having the same issue now but mine is in my lower back. I'm having my 2nd surgery in a few weeks.
