Dealing with Chronic Pain: Seeking Advice

I've had ongoing chronic pain for many years now, I've been trying to get to the bottom on what's causing issues for a while now. I know I have degenerative disc disease, but my doctors seem to think it shouldn't be causing as much pain as I'm in and seem to brush me off. Any advice or helpful treatments to request would be really appreciated!
