Dealing with Chronic Pain: Seeking Advice

I deal with chronic pain 24/7. I don't know of any other way to ease my pain enough so I am able to leave my bed. Does anyone have any advice or knowledge of something that works for them?

As a person who has dealt with chronic pain for almost 25 years, I have found that it has to do more with lifestyle change than drug regiment. The more active I am the more movement my joints get, and as a result, I don’t feel quite as stiff. I also tried Neurontin as part of my treatment regiment. At one point I was taking nine pills per day. I questioned what that was doing to my liver, And then looked for alternatives. One of the choices presented to me was the use of medical marijuana. I can only speak for myself, but the cannabinoids and terpenes in marijuana helps me deal with the significant inflammation and pain, while also helping with my anxiety.

marijuana definitely can help! I also agree that not enough movement will make you even more stiff and sore.

I deal with this too. My PCP has me on Gabapentin to try to help with my pain level.

gabapentin is awful! I can't take the substitutes the cdc is pushing on us. I'm so close to just jumping off the cliff and actually being able th breath and sleep for a night.
