Dealing with Chronic Pain at Work

I don't know how to handle my physical pain from my Fibromyalgia and my Musculoskeletal Conditions while I am still working full-time I don't want to be on meds all the time.. Please help

I would reduce the ibuprofen, even you hurt. It would be a place to start.

I just arrived here. You may not like the answer... but excerci se? Swim [not laps as such but walking in water] or better still see an excercise physio. Sadly, with fm there is no cure and the pain is real. It is very difficult to control without medication but worth a try. Follow docs advice but do listen to your body.

Hi I am so sorry. After we last spoke I got really sick and ended up needing surgery and being in the hospital for a bit. Lost a couple of weeks there. How did it go with the orthopedic doctor?

Currently.. I have been taking my high blood pressure meds, Gabapentin, Nolan, Ibuprofen I am a Resident Aide at an Alzheimer's and Dementia ALF I am going to an Othropedic the beginning of March to see how they can help me with my right shoulder

What kind of doctor(s) are you seeing? What kind(s) of meds are you currently taking and have you tried? Do you have a high stress job? What about stress at home? Are you doing PT or exercising at all? Everyone responds differently to different things but knowing more about where you’ve been and where you’re at help to suggest things.
